Another Group Winner for Belardo

Haunui Farm stallion BELARDO (IRE) (Lope De Vega) has made a great start to his stallion career with his first crop 2YO’s featuring four stakes performers already.

ELYSIUM became the second group winner for her sire in just three days with an eye-catching performance at The Curragh overnight, coming from the rear of the field to take out the G3 Park Stakes over 7f.  WATCH THE RACE HERE

ELYSIUM joins impressive filly ISABELLA GILES on BELARDO’s rapidly increasing honours board.  The winner of the G3 Prestige Stakes by a dominant seven lengths, on Friday ISABELLA GILES took the step up to G2 level in her stride and claimed her fourth win from five starts in the G2 Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket.  G3 performer Lullaby Moon and Listed performer Bell I Am round out BELARDO’s four stakes performers to date.

In New Zealand, the Jamie Richards-trained Avonallo (NZ) (Belardo) has been impressive in two trials and is set to make his debut in the near future whilst reports from Stephen Marsh and Lisa Latta are very positive around their trials performers by BELARDO.
