PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITY IN ONLINE YEARLING DRAFT

NZB’s National Online Yearling Sale is set to conclude tomorrow with the first lot closing at 6pm NZ-time, tomorrow, the 20^th of April.  With seven yearlings on offer, buyers would be remiss not to take a closer look at the Haunui draft.

Last season’s Champion 2YO and First Season Sire, BELARDO is represented by three yearlings in the draft, five in the sale in total.  With Karaka Million 2YO place getters AVONALLO and Fellini from his first two crops and, hot off the back of his first stakes winner in Australia after an impressive performance by VERONA in the G3 Frank Packer Plate (2000m), the timing couldn’t be better to capitalise on that success.

The draft ticks the boxes on the proven stallions front with Lot 35, a colt by RELIABLE MAN who sired his 19th individual stakes winner yesterday, whilst Lot 75 is a daughter of former Haunui stallion, IFFRAAJ whose exciting 4YO AYRTON made a resounding return to racing over the weekend with a decisive win in the G3 Victoria Handicap (1400m) at Caulfield.  Rounding out the draft is Lot 42, a filly by MONGOLIAN KHAN who has BANKER'S CHOICE flying his flag in Australia at the present time.
