Broodmare Management

We agist mares and foals for clients on a permanent or seasonal basis. Many of our clients entrust us with the care of their mares and resultant progeny for twelve months of the year. Ten mares or one, numbers are not an issue. We just want to assist you in achieving the best possible results from your bloodstock portfolio, no matter how large or small.

Breeders can also send their mares to our stallions on a ‘walk-in, walk-out’ basis or, mares can be sent for the duration of the breeding season whether they are dry mares or, mares that need to be foaled down and mated again. Broodmares do not have to be visiting Haunui stallions to reside with us at Haunui. We walk mares out to other stallions on a regular basis as we understand that as breeders, we all have different tastes and the main objective should always be achieving the best result for what is trying to be achieved.
